Edward McCabe

Edward McCabe is an active information security professional and practitioner with over 30 years’ experience with Fortune 500 companies, various domestic state & federal agencies, in addition to various foreign government agencies. Industries supported include the Financial Services, Defense Industrial Base, Retail, Electric Power Transmission & Distribution, Hospitality, Health Care, Construction, Insurance, Technology, Aviation, and Media.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Edward holds various ISACA certifications, including the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), in addition to being an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and a former Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA).

Dr. Alexander Ganzy, Ph.D., CGEIT, CRISC

Dr. Ganzy has over 30 years’ experience in information technology, information security, and risk management. A service-disabled veteran of the United States Navy, Dr. Ganzy has continued to serve the U.S. Government in the realm of information security.

Dr. Ganzy develops and applies advanced cyber intelligence methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation of system threats. Dr. Ganzy is a leader in OSINT, ELINT, and Cyber related intelligence activities and has led global teams to develop and implement detailed plans which cover the full lifecycle of security. He holds an International Practice Diploma in Anti-Trust/Competition Law from The College of Law of England and Wales and is a member of the International Bar Association.

Dr. Ganzy is a member of several social and professional organizations including The Association For Intelligence Officers; National Military Intelligence Association; Federal Information Security Educators Association; ISACA, (ISC)², IEEE Computer Society and the Software Engineering Institute. He is an alumnus of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Currently, Dr. Ganzy consults in the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance services areas and is The Rubicon Advisory Group’s Senior Partner based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

James Edge, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPTE, MCSE

James Edge is a Penetration Testing Specialist with over 16 years of information technology with 15 years in information security as an information systems auditor and penetration tester. James’s industry background consists of state government, financial services, education, aviation, and energy industries.

James became an independent consultant in 2010 to bring his six years of State government experience as a security auditor and penetration tester to the private sector.  James played a primary role in the successful information security assessments and penetration tests of the agencies and universities that manage the education, finances, human resources, transportation, and information technology for the states of Georgia and New York.

Outside of work, James is actively involved in the Nashville chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).  James has been a guest speaker for the ISACA Atlanta and Hudson Valley chapters, the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers, and Treasurers (NASACT), and the State University of New York (SUNY).  The range of presented topics includes password security, account management, and wireless security.

James has been the instructor for the ISACA Atlanta CISA certification boot camp for the past 3 years.  He also has been a guest lecturer for the Kennesaw State University Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) department and assisted in the Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition on behalf of the University.
